Kelly Brown, LAC

Kelly Brown (she/her) has her Masters Degree in Professional Counseling and is currently a Licensed Associate Counselor. 

Kelly has been working in the mental health field for over ten years and has experience working with all ages from toddlers to adults.  Kelly has worked in residential treatment settings, in-home therapy, and outpatient therapy.  

Her clinical experience includes working with anxiety/depression, behavioral issues, oppositional defiant/conduct disorder, emotional/physical/sexual abuse, gender identity, trauma, family conflicts, grief, self-esteem, self-harm and anger management. 

Kelly believes in the importance of creating a strong therapeutic relationship.  Her focus is on creating a safe space for the client to be able to express themselves fully. Kelly believes in actively involving the client in the therapeutic process and tailoring treatment to meet specific goals and preferences.  Her approach is deeply rooted in playfulness, acceptance, curiosity, and empathy. Kelly’s goal is to make sure the client feels seen, heard, supported, and valued.
